Foxy Lady's Lake Erie seasonal lineup
Walleye charters
April
Perch Combo trips
Late August - November
During April, shallow water reef fishing
involves jigging for pre-spawn walleyes.
Huge females and very aggressive males
are the rule.
Fall brings in the schools of perch.
Nothing tastes better. Fast action for the
whole family, catching 1-2-3 fish at a
time. Great for beginners. After limiting
out on perch, you can fish for walleyes or
smallmouth bass.
May-November
During this period Capt. Jed drifts and
casts or trolls
(drifting preferred) to catch
aggressively-feeding walleyes. Fishing is
usually in deeper water and the weather is
more stable. During the fall the big walleyes
start feeding for the winter. And that can
make for some very good fishing.
Smallmouth bass
August/September/October
Steelhead trout
July
Smallies will take many different types of
lures. One of the most popular is to use plastic
tubes over a lead-head jig. Crayfish are
excellent baits but expensive.
Trolling is the method of fishing. Steelhead up
to 15 pounds are common.
Good Walleye catches may also come aboard.
Don't miss out on the Hot Walleye action that is the forecast this year.
